Young Architects in the making
ADP Architect Stephanie Papalla was invited to speak about architecture to the 23rd Group of Sea Scouts in Larnaca
The 2h workshop included a presentation and discussion on "What is architecture?" and "What does an architect do?" as well as a detailed explanation of the main architecture drawings: plan, section and elevation. After the presentation and discussion, scouts divided in groups had to put in practice what they have learnt and design in plan a part of a house. In order to understand the scale of their designs the goups then draw their plan on 1:1 scale with tape on the ground.
