We are thrilled to have been awarded a commendation in the architectural competition for the design of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and adjacent Municipal Amphitheatre.
This joint proposal with Athos Dikaios & Associates and Chapman Taylor, seeks to create a new, viable, functional and accessible building complex through the design of a new building that unifies the open-air parking lot, the new building of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, the amphitheatre and the existing building of the institute. The proposed complex seeks at the same time to offer common spaces for knowledge exchange, open squares and green areas tangled within the daily inhabitation routes of visitors and personnel alike, establishing the complex as a destination, a place that promotes the gathering and exchange of knowledge between the scientific community and the city.
