"Missing people monument" competition

Architecture Design Practice and A. Stylianou Architects joint entry to the Limassol missing people monument competition.

The architectural proposal aims to create an iconic monument and park which, in combination, offer not only a place for contemplation but, moreover, a space where generations can meet, offering a tribute to all the missing people from the invasion of Cyprus. The design approach renegotiates the relationship between monument and urban design, aiming at a daily use of space and the monument-park by the locals and passers by.
