Concept design for a 18-storey building in Larnaca

Our practice was commissioned to work on a concept design for a 18-storey building in Larnaca including planning feasibility and solar/shading and wind analysis. Our design approach was to showcase the magnificent views towards the Finikoudes and Marina areas for all units through a morphological approach that embraces the surroundings rather than introducing blank walls at the plot boundaries. The structure utilises semi-reflective cladding and glazing as an interplay between solid and perceived void with volumes that reach towards the sky.
